Updated on a quarterly basis, the Biodiesel Regulatory Update is a unique snapshot of the regulatory rules applying in the main biodiesel markets. Displaying one country per page, the content describes the current situation and the detailed background of the biofuels policy. For each country, a table summarizes all features of the regulatory rules including mandate levels, rules of double-counting scheme, sustainability standards, taxation and quota systems.
The current version covers the 28 countries of the European Union, Norway, Switzerland, the US, Canada, Indonesia and Malaysia until 2017. Updates in 2016 will extend the coverage to more technical information (seasonnal specifications, buy-out systems, penalties) and to several new countries outside the EU.
